The tour uses cable car to climb the top Kasprowy Wierch (1987 m.n.p.m), and follows through the mountains, mountain grass fields, tarns and passes. It offers a day long adventure with a practical field measurements and experiments that we teach - truly unique way of experiencing Tatra Mountains.
Tour details: The tour is led by English speaking licensed mountain guide. He is an expert in the field of natural sciences and environment. The tour leader will familiarize you with the mountains, their nature, history and culture of "Gorale" - local highlanders. Additionally, the mountain guide will bring scientific equipment like humidity, elevation, pressure and temperature probes, magnifiers and binoculars which will help you to better understand the nature. The tour starts in Kuznice where you will use a modern cable car to get to the Kasprowy Wierch (1987 meters above sea level). It is a prominent summit at the Polsih-Slovakian border with meteorological and astronomical observatories. The tour continues through Beskid (2012 m), Liliowe Pass and reaches meadows of Hala Gąsienicowa. You will find there a laid in stone shelter build in 1925, and have a lunch break. Only 40-minutes from the shelter, there is a beautiful Black Tatr which you will visit after the lunch. This excellent spot offers vistas over "Orla Perc", a sharp ridge of summits known as the most difficult trail in the Tatras. The tour ends with a walk through Jaworzynka Valley known for its historic pastures and old shepherd huts.
